Sony Bravia JE1 series LCD TV Promises High-level of Energy Efficiency

Sony BRAVIA JE1 TV Sony has unveiled its latest series of LCD Television, known as Bravia JE1. Boasting to deliver a very high level of energy efficiency, the latest 32-inch digital LCD TV has improved the efficiency of backlight tube light emission along with light transmissions of optical film. Bravia JE1 offers a WXGA resolution of 1366×768 pixels, a HDMI interface, contrast ratio of 2500:1 and digital TV tuner.

Furthermore, it also claims to minimize the annual power consumption to 86kWh/year and try to reach a rate of 232 percent in the energy efficiency. In this new series of LCD TV’s, the company has apparently used flame-retardant plastic materials to enhance the ray of hoping in meeting eco-friendly environment. In near future, Sony has plans to utilize recycled materials for it’s the Bravia LCD TVs.

In the JE1 LCD TV, fluorescent tubes have been incorporated to deliver higher luminance efficiency at low electric voltage. In addition, It also takes advantage of an optical film that ensures a higher light transmission rate, offering the same brightness and at the same time enhances the energy efficiency.

Without a doubt, the LCD TV is ascertain to deliver the high quality image, easy-to-use and an excellent design. It features the first ever radio frequency remote control, which works on the 2.4 GHz wireless communication technology.

Sony’s Bravia JE1 series of LCD TV will be available on 15th July 2008 in Japan for an estimate cost of $1,389 USD.
