X-Gen Unveils Three Power Supply Units

X-Gen Power Supply units X-Gen has announced three new PC system power supply units with next generation features. The 650 watt PN-02650, the 750 watt PN-02750, and the 850 watt PN-02850 are the latest entrée in the market.

All three power supply units feature ATX 12V 2.2v compatibility and a large 5.3” silent fan for cooling.

The ATX 12V 2.2v compatibility allows the power supply unit to be interchangeable with different internal PC components. One can also turn on and off the unit using a signal from the motherboard.

A 5.3” silent fan with large blades provides better cooling solution to PC. The built-in control circuit controls the fan speed automatically, keeping balance between cooling effect and acoustic noise.

Moreover all three, i.e., the 650 watt PN-02650, the 750 watt PN-02750, and the 850 watt PN-02850 are available with a variety of connection options such as a 20+4 pin, SATA, Molex 4 pin, FDD 4 pin, 12V 4+4 pin, and VGA 6+2 pin connectors.

Also the new power supply units provide protection to PC against overheating, over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuiting.

“Our PC power supply systems are perfect for home theater and media center PCs,” said Joseph Shih, president of Next Generation. “Such applications take more power than a regular PC and X-Gene PC power supply systems deliver that needed wattage. The silent cooling fan built into each unit ensures users will never miss a critical sound, music note, or dramatic piece of dialogue on account of a whirling fan motor.”

X-Gen has not released any pricing and availability information yet.
