Epson India has just announced the launch of two photo viewers in the Indian market- The Epson Professional Photo Viewer P-3000 and P-5000. For those who are unaware, a photo viewer helps professional photographers to review their photo shoot at the location itself, without the need for a PC.
The Epson P-3000 and P-5000 Photo Viewers are the first products in the world to feature the revolutionary 4 color filter LCD. Gone are the days of the traditional RGB color filters. Now, in the P-3000 and P-5000 Photo Viewers, users have a wider color choice of up to 88 per cent of Adobe RGB Color Space. Basically, a wider color gamut of Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Emerald Green are possible with Epson’s latest photo viewers.
The Epson P-5000 and P-3000 Professional Photo Viewers have a 4-inch Photo Fine Ultra LCD screen, which is much brighter than the usual LCD screens. And, this allows users to view images even in direct sunlight.
Both the Epson P-3000 and P-5000 Photo Viewers have a built-in memory card slot, and supports various storage types like CompactFlash Type I and II and SecureDigital memory cards. You can also connect your Epson Photo Viewer to an external USB storage or PictBridge device for seamless file transfers.
The Epson P-3000 and P-5000 Professional PhotoViewers also support a wide range of video formats like MPEG 1, 2 and 4, DivX, H.264, Windows Media Player 9, and Motion-JPEG. Viewers can also select from ‘Home Video’, ‘Cinema’ and ‘Nature’ mode to bring out the best colors and contrast. Besides, the new Professional PhotoViewers P-3000 and P-5000 also support MP3 and WMA formats. They also allow users to edit playlists, select tracks, and also have an Equalizer function.
The Epson P-3000 PhotoViewer offers a storage capacity of 40GB and comes for a price of Rs. 36,000, while the P-5000 has a storage capacity of 80Gb and will sell for a price of Rs.50,000.
