Tech buffs first caught a glimpse of Samsung’s Series 9 notebook when it was officially unveiled during the start of this year at CES. Samsung today announced the immediate availability of its Notebook Series 9 across India.
The stylish Samsung Series 9 notebook sports an aerodynamic design and is manufactured using ultra-light duralumin material for optimum durability. It weighs merely 1.31kg and measures 16.3mm in depth. The device encompasses a 13.3†HD LED-backlit SuperBright Plus display equipped with 400nit brightness, 16 million colors and 1,300:1 super contrast ratio.
“Notebook Series 9 is our first product for the ultra-premium segment. In line with our recently unveiled Smarter Life strategy, the product is designed for consumers who pursue the best in everything: smart design, performance and usability. We believe that with its elegant design aesthetics coupled with superlative performance capabilities, the Series 9 will establish Samsung as a key player in the ultra-premium category,” expressed Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung Mobile and IT.
The laptop is powered by the second generation Intel Core i5 processor and incorporates a 128GB solid state drive for delivering an overall enhanced performance. It packs in a lithium polymer battery which effectively ensures up to 7.7 hours of total usage.
The Samsung Series 9 notebook attaches a price tag of Rs. 1, 00,990.
