The HP Pavilion dm4 and HP Pavilion dm4 Beats Edition notebooks will be accompanying the Folio 13 Ultrabook to the market next month. Though both devices claim to offer rich multimedia experience, the Beats Edition is expected to deliver unmatched audio quality as it holds certification by Dr. Dre.

About 1-inch thin, the Pavilion dm4 weighs less than 4.5 pounds. It is outfitted with a 14-inch HD LED display and boasts of tackling daily tasks on the move. In addition to the Intel Core processor, the device is also capable of supporting AMD Radeon HD discrete graphics. Featuring an optional backlit keyboard, the device either comes in brushed aluminum dark umber or sports the steel gray metal finish. This portable PC can be deployed with the Intel Smart Response Technology, while it offers a battery life of about 7 hours. Other attributes of the laptop includes HP TrueVision HD Webcam, HP CoolSense and HP SimplePass.

The Pavilion dm4 Beats Edition is adorned with the signature Beats design with black exterior and red logo. Also, its black colored keyboard sports red backlight. To add to its comfort factor, the device is fitted with soft-touch palm rest for a smooth experience. Besides Beats certified audio and optional HD headphones, the notebook is also inclusive of microfiber sleeve and wallpaper from Dr. Dre.

The HP Pavilion dm4 and HP Pavilion dm4 Beats Edition price and availability details have been disclosed. The dm4 starts at $629.99 (approx. Rs. 31,955), while the dm4 Beats Edition is priced at $899.99 (approx. Rs. 45,655). Both devices will be up for grabs in the U.S starting December 18.
