HP introduces new ProBook, EliteBook business laptops

Business professionals have almost always been searching for laptops that only transcend the portability factor, but also embedded leading-edge technologies to cater to diversified needs. Therefore, HP recently added strength to its advanced Forge business notebook design framework with the new ProBook m-series and EliteBook p-series.

The Muse consumer notebook design philosophy has also been expanded with HP Mini 210, Pavilion dv4 and Envy 14. The highly trendy ProBook 5330m comes equipped with a 13.3-inch diagonal high-definition screen and a backlit keyboard for low-light environments. The portable computing device is powered by the second-generation Intel Core i5 and i3 dual-core processors and includes the HP Fingerprint Sensor and optional Intel vPro technology.

Under HP EliteBook, the exquisite 2560p notebook PC and 2760p tablet PC secure a place that conjugate modern design with precision engineering. The lightweight 2560p comes in platinum shade with a clamshell layout. For remarkable clarity, the device features a 12.5-inch diagonal LED-backlit high-definition 16” x 9” display. On the other hand, the 12.1-inch diagonal 2760p emerges to be ideal for pen use or finger touch.

Some other noteworthy characteristics that come incorporated into EliteBook laptops are second-generation Intel Core i7 or i5 dual-core processors, Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, vPro technology, full-size 7,200RPM hard disk drives and solid state drives. The HP Mini 210 features the purposive QuickWeb 3.0 which comprises a customizable widget dashboard and the ability to synchronize with Windows bookmarks.

Apart from this, there’s Pavilion dv4 which has enhanced CoolSense technology from HP and a 14-inch diagonal high-definition LED BrightView screen. Users with taste for sophistication can grab this one in espresso black and pacific blue tinges. The 14.5-inch Envy 14 also benefits from second-generation Intel Core processor and subsumes USB 3.0, HP imagepad, precision-etched metal alloy case and Beats Audio.

The roster of attractive devices also welcomes the new HP elite L2201x display encompassed with an easel stand design and brushed-metal finish. For business professionals, a new 2560p docking station has been designed. The latter one includes four USB ports and eSATA, DisplayPort and VGA ports for added connectivity.

The new HP ProBook 5330m begins at $799 (approx Rs. 35,725), EliteBook 2560p at $1,099 (approx Rs. 49,141), while EliteBook 2760p at $1,499 (approx Rs. 67,027). The 2760p and 5330m will be made available starting today, while EliteBook 2560p is expected to be available on May 23. The HP Mini 210 carries a starting price of $299.99 (approx Rs. 13,414) and should be available beginning June 15.

Further, the Pavilion dv4, Envy 14, 2560p docking station and Elite L2201x have a starting price of $599.99 (approx Rs. 26,828), $999.99 (approx Rs. 44,714), $149 (approx Rs. 6,662), and $249 (approx Rs. 11,134), respectively.
