Lenovo seems to be proficiently climbing up the ladder by elegantly outlining portable computing solutions that are stylish yet powerful. The company launched its highly efficient Lenovo ThinkPad X1 business laptop today at an event held in Mumbai.
Designed neatly with top-notch characteristics, this new computing device is driven by Intel’s second-generation core processors and supplements Lenovo’s new ‘For Those Who Do’ brand. The laptop houses a 13.3-inch display screen which promises to withstand abrupt drops and bumps, thanks to the incorporated Corning Gorilla Glass.

It claims to be an ideal travel buddy as it weighs just 3.7 pounds. It features Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 which allows users to comfortably start their laptop on average 20 seconds faster than a conventional Windows 7 PC. Besides optional Intel vPro technology, the laptop sports encrypted hard drives with remote management support and fingerprint reader with one touch swipe.

The spec sheet also highlights features such as superior VOIP experience with improved noise and echo cancellation, HDMI and low light sensitive HD camera. Staying connected with loved ones has been made facile with an optional mobile broadband 720p camera, HD microphones and incredible calling modes developed mainly for video calls.
Further, the integrated Instant Resume feature enables users to flawlessly keep their wireless connection for around 90 minutes even when the ThinkPad X1 moves into sleep mode. The Lenovo Rapid Charge competently recharges batteries to 80 percent in just about 30 minutes. The audio quality is refined and polished with Dolby Home Theatre V4.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 can be purchased for a starting price tag of Rs. 85,000 in India.
