Sony slides out Vaio M Series M11M1E mini notebook

There aren’t many mini laptops that can claim to be fully-featured and offer everything required for anytime computing. This month, Sony will launch their Vaio M Series M11M1E mini-notebook which is touted to extend just such along with easy portability.

The Vaio M11M1E houses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and comes with Microsoft’s Windows 7 Starter Edition 32-bit OS. Memory capacity is offered in the form of a 250GB SATA HDD and 1GB DDR2 SDRAM. Its chassis flaunts a 10.1” 16:9 LED backlit display whose graphics are supported by the Intel GMA 3150.

Sony’s new M Series mini laptop integrates a Motion Eye camera, three USB ports, stereo speakers and a mono microphone along with Wi-Fi, WLAN 802.11b/g/n as also Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR connectivity. It displays dimensions of 183mm x 33mm x 268mm and is powered up by a 6-cell battery.

The device is sold with Vaio Gate, PMB Vaio Edition, MusicStation, Vaio Smart Network, Vaio Media Plus; Vaio Care, Vaio Update, Vaio Transfer Support, Adobe Reader 9, Windows Live Essentials Suite, Internet Explorer 8, McAfee with 60 days free virus updates and Norton Online BackUp Trial software.

The Sony Vaio M11M1E mini notebook will be out in shades of black and white this month though pricing details are unclear for now.
