Lenovo Ideapad Netbook

Mobile users who are looking for an immediate web browsing experience can now have one! Lenovo has just announced a brand-new netbook for users who are always on the go – the IdeaPad S10-3s. With its slim 16mm profile and lightweight design, the reliable internet companion is a perfect choice for users who want more from their gizmo.

The sleek device incorporates the latest Intel Atom N470 or N450 processor and renders a familiar typing experience to a full size laptop with its 98 percent full-size chiclet keyboard, and individually-spaced rounded keys. To suit users’ individual style, the offering comes in black, white and a spring flower cover pattern.

Users can now get on the web even faster with Quick Start, which enables access to a range of applications, multimedia files and web browsing without booting to the Windows desktop operating system. The neatly designed S10-3s comes with Dolby Headphone audio that helps bring music and videos to life.

With its DirectShare, users can instantly sync their files wirelessly with any other type and brand of computer, without even connecting to the web. The device features MapLife Location-based mapping – allowing users to discover new places and lead a safe journey.

Apart from this, the netbook includes Active Protection System, a feature previously found only on Lenovo’s premium ThinkPad and IdeaPad laptops. Packed with a host of powerful features, it also subsumes VeriFace face recognition technology, OneKey Rescue System data recovery and anti-virus tools.

The new Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s netbook is anticipated to be available this month with a price tag of $379 (approx Rs. 16,799).
