Technology manufacturers seem to have found a new niche market for their products – kids, or rather, parents who want to raise tech-savvy kids. PeeWee PC is selling the PeeWee Power laptop that is designed explicitly for children. This hardy device tips the scale at 3.5 pounds and sports a spill-proof keyboard.
The laptop is built for kids aged between four to eight years and features a sturdy drop-proof chassis. Security is not forgotten with PeeWee Patrol and PeeWee Privacy software pre-installed on every laptop. The former is an internet monitoring program, while the latter allows parents to lay restrictions on time and duration of their child’s laptop usage apart from blocking access to particular files or folders on the HDD.

Fifteen educational software titles including different games are pre-loaded into this notebook that houses an Intel Atom N450 processor and 1GB RAM. It runs the Windows XP OS, displays a 10.1†LCD screen and comes powered by a 6-cell battery. This gizmo is sold with a three-year warranty and lifetime technical support.
