MSI to parade C and P series laptops

Users can now rest assured regarding the security of valuable information on their notebooks if they’re planning to lay hands on MSI’s latest offerings. MSI is showcasing their brand new C and P series laptops at the Computex 2010. The C series comprises of the CX410, CX623, CX620, and CX720 models, while the P series includes the P600. All the variants have been integrated with the latest Intel Core i processors.

The CX410 and the CR420 flaunt 14” displays while the CX720 has been fitted with a 17.3″ display. The CX623 and the CX620 are attributed with 15.6” screens. Users can play 1080P HD visuals with lesser load on the processor that leads to improved computing and performance abilities. The C series boasts of incorporating advanced processors and high performance discrete graphics cards.

All laptops that are part of the C series have been crafted with stylish designs and the exclusive 45° beveled edges that MSI offers. The series has been credited with MSI’s GPU Boost technology with which users can employ either the graphics card or the integrated graphics chip, as per their requirements without rebooting.

“At the upcoming Computex, MSI will be exhibiting C series classic laptops, including the 14″ CX410 and CR420, the 15.6″ CX623, CX620, and CR630, as well as the large-screen 17″ CX720, all of which feature color film print and high performance hardware that you’ve come to expect from MSI,” explained Sam Chern, Marketing Director at MSI.

The P series integrates EasyFace software along with two layers of data biometric identification that is fingerprint and facial recognition software which allows users to store their data safely. It incorporates a 15.6” display and onboard CD ROM player. The notebook is powered by an 8-cell battery and weighs around 2.4kgs. The Chiclet keyboard built into each of the aforementioned devices helps in avoiding typos caused by hitting more than one key simultaneously.

“The CX720, CX623, CX620, and CX410 are discrete graphics models that come with MSI’s own GPU Boost technology to provide a virtual multimedia feast at super value. Members of the P series are light, slim, and feature stylish feather lines. They come equipped with a fingerprint reader and MSI’s exclusive EasyFace facial recognition software to keep your data doubly secure,” added Chern.

The exteriors flaunt feather-pattern lines, with both series being equipped with wide angle, HD LED displays extending 16:9 widescreen aspect ratios. They have been coated with MSI’s own Color Film Print technology with radiant rhombic patterns lends an elegant touch to the exteriors. The devices are protected from scratches and other damages.

MSI has not revealed the pricing and availability details of the C and P series laptops as yet.
