Consumers can now enjoy a wide variety of notebook PCs with the launch of the new premium portable range from Samsung. The company launched a high-performance line-up of 5 different models of notebook PCs for its X series, R series and N series mini notebook family.
The X Series notebook PC range includes the X460 model that incorporates a 14.1 ultra-thin screen. It is claimed to sport the world’s first 2950mAh six-cell battery which can run for 10 hours at a stretch. This device is very light and is designed for maximum portability. It also has a secure biometric fingerprint and trusted platform module authentication system.

The R Series notebook PCs namely the R420 and the R470 boast of 14.0 inch LED widescreen displays. Both these laptops incorporate a water-tight seal around the chassis. This protects the device from any kind of liquid damage. Noise-sensitive environments can be complimented well with the notebooks’ SuperSilent Mode.
The N Series Mini notebooks which comprise of the N120 and the N310 are said to be very light and attractive. They are built with HSPA, WiMAX and WiBro technologies. Users can also enjoy extended surfing and entertainment with its 10 hour battery life. These notebook PCs are designed with large keyboards to provide users with added typing comfort.
The price and availability of these mini notebooks has not yet been revealed.
