MSI brings in yet another gaming laptop dubbed GT729. This device uses the Turbo Drive Engine Technology which increases the speed of the CPU just with the touch of a button.
The laptop features a DDR3 system RAM that increases the system power to provide enhanced performance. The highlight of the laptop is the Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology that uses Intel Core2 Duo processor and Intel PM45 Express Chipset provides improved gaming performance.
The other specifications of the laptop include 17-inch LCD monitor, E- SATA support, high-definition multimedia interface, 2.0 megapixel webcam and optional DTV receiver. The ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4850 3D Graphic Card and the MSI vivid image enhancement technology are said to deliver realistic audio-visual effects. The GT729 also features Dolby Theater Class 4.1 Channel surround sound effect and subwoofer for enhanced audio effects. The notebook uses an aerodynamic design for its touchpad. This design uses a simple black mirror plate as base and red linings that emphasize the smoothness of the faceplate.
To conserve energy the GT729 includes an all new ECO Engine. This engine not only conserves energy but also increases the battery running time. The ECO quick launch sensor comes with five preset modes- Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Office, and Turbo Battery. The laptop automatically switches between these modes to save maximum energy.
The pricing and availability of the MSI GT729 gaming notebook is still to be disclosed.
