Finally, after a long wait, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Netbook makes an official appearance on the company’s official website.

Weighing just 2.86 pounds, the mobile companion highlights key features that include a multi-touch track pad, a keyboard with convenient fit, a 10.1-inch seamless display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and next-generation Wi-Fi connectivity.

Powered by either a Intel Atom Z520 or Z530 processor, the Mini 10 runs on Windows XP Home Edition operating system and bundles a 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, the Intel Poulsbo US15WGraphics chipset and an integrated Intel graphics media accelerator 500.

In terms of storage space, the Inspiron Mini 10 is available in two options; users can either choose a 120 GB or 160 GB SATA HDD 2.5-inch 5400RPM. It supports an optional 3G WWAN and an optional internal TV tuner card. The netbook has the ability to offer 720p media playback.

Apart from the above mentioned features, the latest netbook from Dell comes equipped with stereo speakers, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth support, 3-in-1 card reader, HDMI connector, 3 USB ports, audio jacks and Kensington lock.

Dell is believed to start shipping the Inspiron Mini 10 netbook from 26th February for a suggested price of $399 (approx. Rs. 19,770). The 10-inch netbook is out in the UK for around £299 (approx. Rs. 21,550).
