Initially introduced at CeBIT 2009, Asus’ latest Eee PC 1008HA netbook is in news again with the UK price details.
Electricpig reports that the company has announced the pricing of the skinny netbook, dubbed the Eee PC 1008HA, for the UK market. Weighing just 2.4lbs and measuring one-inch in thickness, the 10-inch ultra-thin computing device will cost around £359 (approx. Rs. 26,275) + tax and is expected to reach the shelves in April.
Asus Eee PC 1008HA is also called the Eee Shell due to its elegant pearlescent casing and fascinating sheen. Offering the slim form factor, it incorporates a battery that cannot be easily removed.
Refreshing your memories with a quick brush-up of the features, the Eee PC 1008HA offers a 160 GB hard-drive, 1 GB of RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and options for HSPA-based 3G or WiMAX.
As of now, Asus has not confirmed the actual cost and specific date to release the 1008HA netbook in the United Kingdom.
