Apple India launches its new 17-inch Apple Macbook Pro in the Indian market.
Sporting a precision aluminium unibody enclosure and a revolutionary new built-in battery, the revamped laptop claims to be durable and stable to offer up to eight hours of operation and around 1,000 recharges for more than three times the lifespan than the conventional notebooks.
Developed using highly recyclable materials, the enhanced and upgraded version of MacBook Pro highlights Adaptive Charging technology and outstanding working time-span with the ability to use up to 30 percent less energy.
Additionally, the main attributes of the notebook PC include a high resolution LED-backlit, 1920 x 1200 widescreen display, large glass Multi-Touch trackpad, state-of-the-art NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processor, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT discrete graphics processor and the latest generation 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors.
Other features of the 17-inch MacBook Pro include up to 8GB DDR3 main memory, slot-load 8X SuperDrive with double-layer support (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) optical drive, AirPort Extreme 802.11n wireless networking and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet port, iSight video camera and three USB 2.0 ports.
It comes with an option of 320GB 5400 rpm hard drive standard with 320GB 7200 rpm hard drive and 128GB and 256GB solid state drives.
The 17-inch MacBook Pro will be available in India through the Apple Authorized Resellers for a maximum retail price of Rs.1,62,600.
