CherryPal has announced its eco-friendly Bing nettop. The company plans to unveil the nettop at Sundance Film Festival, this week in Park City, Utah.
Based on the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, the Bing nettop computer offers a 10.2-inch TFT widescreen with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1 GB DDRII memory, 160 GB HDD, a built-in Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g), 0.3 megapixel web camera, integrated microphone and dual speakers.
Running on Linux based GreenMaraschino operating environment, it also comes with SD/MMC/MS card socket. Users can enjoy five hours of continuous operation on a single charge. It is also compatible with GreenMaraschino enhanced Windows XP operating system.
In addition, the CherryPal Bing nettop features many free open source based applications. The device can be used with or without the CherrypalCloud, which makes the user’s experience simple, efficient and highly secure.
CherryPal has also introduced a special ‘2 for 1’ deal, wherein both the Bing laptop and the C114 desktop are offered at $399, which converts to around Rs. 19,400.
