Samsung expands its range of notebooks and mini notebooks in India by launching N series N110, NC 20, N120 and N310 mini notebooks and R series R522, R470 notebooks.
The N110 mini-notebook bundles up 10.1 inch widescreen display and ergonomic large keyboard, almost 93 percent of a desktop keyboard along with 17.7mm spacing between the keys. This sleek portable mini-notebook weighs 1.26 kg, works up to 9.5 hours with six cell battery.

The N120 mini-notebook is packed with 10.1 inch display, large touchpad, full-size 12†notebook style keyboard with satisfactory spacing and lightweight slim casing. Moreover, the integrated SRS 2.1ch system with sub-woofer and 2 x 1.5 Watt stereo speakers ensures high-quality sound.
Samsung’s easily portable N120 can render high performance for 10.5 hours with its durable six cell battery. High-performance processing, power-efficient LED display and Samsung’s high-quality engineering lead to improved battery life in this mini-notebook. Thus enhancing the quality of the device’s output and making it all the more user-friendly.
Samsung N120 mini notebook provides a wide range of connectivity options with its three built-in USB ports, included 3-in-1 memory card reader and optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.
Samsung N310 sports a stylized look, designed by renowned international designer, Naoto Fukasawa. This 10.1″ compact, 1.23 kg mini notebook can be easily carried in a handbag, luggage or briefcase, owing to its capacity to withstand bumps and bangs. It also uses a four cell battery. This sleek mini notebook bundles up frameless, scratch-free flat screen with stylish pebble design. The notebook PC style keyboard comes with 17.6mm key spacing.
Sleek and stylish notebook R522 notebook offers novel touchpad lightning and integrated aluminum-style palm rest. Users can not only use Windows Vista gadgets but also relish full screen HD movies and play games on the 15.6″ display screen (with 16: 9 aspect ratio) without any disturbance or distortion.
The notebook has been sealed to withstand up to 100 cc of water on the keyboard and any part on the casing. Additionally, R522 offers vast connectivity options such as four USB 2.0 ports and separate combo port that support USB as well as eSATA connections. Thus, the notebook can transfer data to and from external devices at a speed of up to 3GB/sec.
R470 notebook boasts a 14.0″ LED display with 16:9 aspect ratio. This helps users enjoy HD videos and games. The included new-generation nVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics card with GDDR3 256 MB memory delivers 3D graphics processing power. These features according to the company provide high quality sharp, bright pictures, even when one plays intense high-quality 3D games.
Similar to R522, R470 also offers a variety of connectivity options. One can transfer data up to 3GB/sec as the notebook features three USB 2.0 ports, support for USB as well as eSATA connections. Samsung mini notebooks N110, N120 and NC20 are priced at Rs.25,252, Rs.26,327 and Rs.30,089 respectively. Mini notebook N310 will be available from next month. The R series notebook R470 is priced at Rs. 48,364 while R522, available in two versions is priced at Rs. 37,399 and Rs 41,914.
