VIA has confirmed that Tongfong has adopted the Nano processor technology for its Tongfong S30A notebook.
The 13.3-inch S30A incorporates the power efficient 64-bit 1.3GHz+ VIA Nano U2250 processor for enhanced performance. The notebook also features VIA VX800 MSP and S3 Graphics Chrome 435 ULP for high definition video capability.
The device comes with support for DirectX 10.1. The HDMI port and high-definition audio playback feature ensures total flawless entertainment to TongFong users.

The Tongfong S30A is an exceptionally thin and lightweight notebook weighing just 1.4kg. It houses a 2.5-inch S-ATA hard drive to store data and multimedia content that can be played with the help of DVD Super Multi-Drive.

The networking capabilities include 10/100Mbps Ethernet and 802.11b/g wireless. Conveniently incorporating 4-in 1 card reader, express card slot, and two USB 2.0 ports, the notebook is powered by six-cell battery. This battery can be replaced by the optical drive for extended mobile scenarios.
The Tongfong S30A made a debut at the Computex this year. However the pricing for this notebook is still under wraps.
