Sony Vaio X Notebook The demand for notebooks seems to be elevating by leaps and bounds, and Sony now steps in to meet users’ various needs of a feature-packed notebook. Sony has recently taken the wraps off its new Vaio X, an ultra-slim notebook filled with endless effective features.

Claimed to be the world’s lightest notebook of its size, the stupendous Vaio X measures merely 13.9mm thick and can be configured to weigh as little as 655g.

Smartly designed for style conscious users, the elegant device encompasses a chassis sculpted in carbon fibre and offers multiple enhanced specifications concurrently. Inside, the notebook embraces a 2.0GHz Intel Atom Z550 processor, equipped Intel GMA500 graphics, 2GB of DDR2 memory alongside a choice of storage solutions including the option for a 128GB solid state drive.

Furthermore, the Vaio X features an aluminum palm rest, a multi-touch trackpad with gesture support, a built-in webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, a pair of USB ports and VGA out. Additionally, its battery life offers eight hours of functionality for the default configuration, but an optional X battery is also offered to double that number.

Available in gold, black and premium carbon color, the effectual Vaio X can significantly change the way end users use their notebook. For now, Sony has maintained its silence about the pricing and availability details.
