Samsung NC10 Netbook Gets Official

Samsung NC10 Netbook Samsung has entered the netbook market with the launch of its latest computing device, dubbed NC10. This stylish netbook maintains incredible functionality in its small size form factor.

Available in three different colors such as white, classic Samsung piano black and a unique metallic blue color, the ultra-compact laptop weighs 1.33 kg and is said to be one of the world’s lightest 10.2-inch netbooks.

Powered by Intel Atom processor, the NC10 sports a stunning WSVGA display that delivers a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and supports SuperBright Non-Gloss LED. It runs on the Microsoft Windows XP Home operating system and comes in either 80 GB or 160GB hard disk.

Other features of the Samsung NC10 netbook include 3 in 1 multi-memory card reader, VGA connection, mic in, headphone out, 3 x USB ports and 6 cell battery to provide up to 8 hours of operation. In context to connectivity, the latest netbook offers Atheros 802.11b.g wireless LAN for fast Internet access, a 10/100 Ethernet LAN and optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.

Moreover, the NC10 has the ability to withstand the stress and strain of the daily usage while commuting due to an integrated ultra durable Protect-o-Edge casing. Besides, the latest Samsung NC10 is believed to be anti-bacterial, thanks to the company’s innovative Silver Nano Technology that promises to offer a more hygienic personal computing environment.

Samsung’s NC10 netbook is slated to hit the Uk market by October 2008 for a suggested retail price of £329 (approx. Rs. 27,590).
