Samsung introduces a comprehensive lineup of Notebook PCs and netbooks in the Indian market which includes the light, thin and premium X Series, Mobile Optimum Q series and the Mainstream R series.
The Samsung X Series talks more about portability and design without ignoring the performance. The X Series 13.3 inch X360 and 14.1 inch X460 notebooks feature Intel Centrino 2 processor technology with Intel Core2 Duo Processors and Intel New Wireless LAN (802.11n). Sporting a rugged magnesium alloy chassis, these notebooks are extremely light with an aluminum plate supporting the LCD and a pebble style keyboard. Both the notebooks support Samsung’s 300 nits Super Bright LED backlit LCD display that lets you conveniently view the display even in daylight. The Samsung X360 and X460 notebooks carry a price tag worth Rs. 1,15,014 and Rs. 80,614 respectively.
Well, all the Samsung notebooks come equipped with a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth 2.0, HDMI (with the exception of the Netbook NC10) output and Silver Nano keyboard.
Samsung’s Q and R series notebooks offer Touch of Color design with black to red color gradation which is featured in Samsung HDTVs and desktop monitors. The highly portable Q310 notebook with a 13.3 inch wide LCD display can be used for all purposes while the R610 notebook equips a HD compatible 16 inch wide LCD, 512 MB memory and 17 key full size numeric keypad.
Both Q & R Series feature the latest Intel Centrino 2 mobile processors, large hard drives, advanced graphics and a unique Touch of colour glossy design. The Samsung Q310 is priced at Rs. 61,694 while you can purchase the R series in a price range between Rs. 34,604 to Rs. 62,339.
To meet the growing demand of netbooks, Samsung has also introduced the sleek and stylish NC10 netbook sporting a 10.2 inch wide LED. This netbook bundles up Intel’s ATOM N270 Processor, enhanced battery capacity, 160 GB hard drive, a 3-in-1 Multi memory slot, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a built in 1.3 mega pixel webcam. Its key feature being 93% full size keyboard, the standard 5200 mAH high capacity 6 cell Lithium battery provides up to eight hours of usage. The Samsung NC10 netbook is priced at Rs. 28,477.
