Rock rolls out two Pegasus and two Xtreme Laptops

Rock Computers has announced its latest laptop line up, Pegasus 520 and 320, and Xtreme 780 and 620 that expands the Pegasus and Xtreme family, respectively.

Weighing 3.8 kg, the features of the ultra-high end Xtreme 780 laptop include a Core 2 Duo Extreme X9100 processor, a 17-inch WUXGA X glass LCD, nVidia GeForce Go 9800M GTX graphics and a 8GB of DDR3 RAM with a selection of HDD sizes up to 500GB.

Targeted at gamers, the Xtreme 620 laptop sports a 15.4 inch display, Core 2 Extreme T9500 CPU and GeForce Go 9800M GT graphics along with 8GB of DDR3 RAM. For storage, users can break up their HDD into 250 GB or 500 GB set up.

Both these models are equipped with Blu-ray drives, a 1066 MHz Centrino 2, Wireless N and HDMI ports.

In the Pegasus 520 notebook, consumers will find 15.4-inch, an Extreme T9500 processor, nVidia GeForce 9600M GT 1GB graphics card, Blu-ray drives, the Centrino 2 benefits of a 1066MHz FSB, Wireless N and HDMI ports.

Powered by T9500 CPU, the Pegasus 320 employs a 13.3-inch WXGA display, dedicated GeForce 9300M GS 256GB GPU, up to 4GB RAM and either a 500GB 5,400rpm or 250GB 7,200rpm and Blu-ray write.

Expected to ship in August, the Pegasus and Xtreme laptops are available for pre-orders. Price is kept unannounced.
