After Japan, Dell has officially announced Dell Inspiron Mini 12 laptop for the American markets.
Dell unveils three version of the Inspiron Mini 12 for entry-level, mid-level and higher-level consumers in the US.
The entry-level model’s features include 1.33 GHz Atom processor, 40 GB hard drive and a three-cell 24WHr Lithium-Ion Battery. The mid-level and higher-level laptops are powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor and 6-cell 48WHr Lithium-Ion Battery. The mid-level Inspiron Mini 12 sports a 60 GB hard drive, whereas the higher-level one features an 80 GB hard drive.
The common features of all three versions include a 1 GB of RAM, Windows Vista Home Basic OS, a 12.1-inc widescreen TrueLife Display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 video card and wireless 802.11g mini card.
Price wise, the entry-level costs $549 (approx. Rs. 26,777), the mid-level retails for $599 (approx. Rs. 29,216) and the higher version can be purchased for $678 (approx. Rs. 33,069).
All the three Dell Inspiron Mini 12 laptops are scheduled to hit the American market by December.
