PS3 into a Laptop from Ben Heck

Ben Heck Ben Heckendorn, better known as Ben Heck, an independent film maker has created many portable video game mods. He has built a laptop based on the very popular gaming console, Sony PlayStation 3, reports Engadget. It is aptly called the PS3 Laptop.

The whole box boasts to be thinner than a PS3. It weighs 16 pounds and comes in dimensions of 17 x 13.75 x 3-inches (WxHxD). The additional features of the PS3 laptop include:

  • Original backwards compatible 60GB model
  • 17-inch LCD HDTV screen with 720p
  • HDMI-DVI connection
  • Built-in keyboard, USB ports
  • Stereo speakers, headphone jack
  • Blu-ray drive
  • It is said that the PS3 laptop will sell in a charity auction. However, the price is yet to be revealed.

    In the past, an Xbox 360 laptop and Wii laptop have also been developed.
