Toshiba has enhanced its Satellite X205-SLi series of gaming notebook with the launch of two new products known as Satellite X205-SLi5 and Satellite X205-SLi6.
Powered by Intel’s next-generation 45nm processors technology, these models work on dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics cards with 512MB GDDR3 to offer greater speed and performance for intense gaming. With an HDMI port, users can play games in 1080i high-definition system by pure digital output to any HDTV with an HDMI port.
Both the models incorporate S/P DIF output port along with the Dolby Sound Room technology to deliver up to 5.1 stereo surround sound, Bluetooth v.2.0+EDR technology to wireless connect to mice and keyboards, a built-in 1.3 megapixel Webcam and support for LAN to play games against other gamers in various tournaments or friends and family members for Windows – LIVE.
The Satellite X205-SLi5 is equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 at 2.4GHz, 3072 MB of RAM and a pair of 160GB 7200 RPM HDDs, whereas the Satellite X205-SLi6 include Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 running at 2.5 GHz, 3072MB of DDR2 RAM, a pair of 200GB HDD and a 17-inch LCD.
Both the X205 gaming notebooks are available with American market directly from Toshiba with the estimated retail price of $1999.99 (approx. Rs. 80,000) for Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi5 and $2499.99 (approx. Rs. 100,000) for Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi6.
