Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) has announced that Asus has adopted the SiS671DX chipsets for Asus F5V series notebooks after implementing the SiS671FX chipsets in Asus P5S-MX SE motherboard. This is to reinforce the performance of the computers.
The Asus F5V features 15.4-inch widescreen LCD monitor that delivers high-end video and audio enjoyment, Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology and the SiS671DX chipset for unforgettable mobility. Compatible with Intel CoreTM Duo and Intel Celeron M processors, Asus F5V notebook comes with DDR2-667 DRAM up to 2GB, one DVI and one VGA ports to deliver smooth visual effects.
