Asus has launched the A8Jr notebook series for consumers who expect graphic performance from their laptops. The series not only has the Intel’s Core2 Duo processor, but also is the first notebook series to exploit ATI’s Mobility RadeonX2300 Graphic Processing Unit (GPU).
The specs of A8Jr Notebook Series are:
– Intel Core 2 Duo Processors T7600/T7400/ T7200/T5600/T5500
– Mobile Intel 945PM Express Chipset
– Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
– Genuine Home
– Genuine Professional
David Cummings, director of marketing, Graphics Products Group, AMD said, “There is an ever-increasing demand for higher graphic processing power and crisper graphics for entertainment and applications alike. Our answer to that demand is the X2300 GPU. This GPU utilizes patented technology to increase processing power and provide the user with smooth, realistic hi-resolution graphics.â€
And if you are planning to shift to Windows Vista, you need not worry as the A8Jr Notebook Series is Vista-ready and will support the Windows Aero user interface. Asus will also put its “Splendid Video Intelligence Technologyâ€, which will integrate different multimedia data sources to reduce noise and conversion rate. Though Asus were kind enough to let us know about the details of A8Jr notebook series, they didn’t mention two important features, the release date and the price.
