Asustek Computer Inc has demonstrated the Hermes Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) and robust notebook, called N13i at Computex 2007 show.

The product also provides a backlight which can be selected from fluorescent tube or LED. The battery lasts for around 6 hours.
The Asus N13i features:
The security specs, in addition to the MIL-STD-810F standard and IP54 classification, include the MIL-STD-461E standard that defines the requirements of noise-resistance.
The Robust PC offers a biaxial hinge that can rotate the display panel in the horizontal direction. The N13i robust PC comes with a 2 megapixel camera module.
Asus plans to ship-in the Hermes UMPC and Robust N13i PC in the fourth quarter of this year. The cost of Hermes and N13i is $700 and $3000 respectively.
