Neoware m2000 Mobile Thin Client Notebook Announced

Neoware Logo Neoware has unveiled the m2000 Mobile Thin Client Notebook, which is the first notebook from the company that is powered by an Intel Processor.

“Our launch of the Neoware m100 mobile thin client last October exceeded even our best expectations,” said Klaus Besier, CEO at Neoware.

“As customers in many industries have adopted the previous version, the m100 – from financial firms, to police departments, and Federal agencies – we were able to leverage their experiences as a basis for the Neoware m2000 design. Now, once again, we’re offering what we believe is the most innovative mobile thin client device in the industry, setting a new performance standard for mobile thin clients,” he continued.

The Neoware m2000 will feature an Intel processor and advanced flash memory technology that fulfills the commuting needs. Besides, the m2000 includes wireless 802.11 b/g, wired Ethernet, and compatibility with wireless broadband cards.

Moreover, the m2000 comes along with Linux, Windows XPe or Windows CE.

Neoware has not declared the price and availability details.
