As 3D entertainment continues to woo audiences, companies have been gearing up to provide the right display for effective viewing of content. LG has announced the launch of 3D Cinema monitor as well as the IPS, E90, E60 and E81 monitors in India. The first provides for an enhanced 3D viewing experience through the built-in FPR technology.

The LG Cinema 3D Monitor is favorable for the immersive viewing experience. It provides 3D viewing that shouldn’t allow for any sort of uneasiness which can crop up from having to look at flicker- and crosstalk-filled images. The content can be watched with 3D glasses that operate without battery or electromagnetic waves. It includes Light Boost, which is a thin film covering the screen that offers bright and sharp 3D images. Additionally, the display can be accessed from different positions, giving users their much needed choice. It also features a wide viewing angle that allows multiple people to watch the content conveniently in groups.

IPS technology offers a 180-degree viewing angle with faster response time that eliminates the shadow effect of pictures. It features a 6 axis color control to keep the colors of images pure and free from dilution. It consumes less electricity and the technology results in related low color shift in the picture, providing a strain free viewing experience. Apart from entertainment, the panel is suitable for medical, graphical, DSLR, gaming and multi-user experiences too. The E90 monitors come across as sleek, with good picture quality and wide viewing angle. They are built to consume less electricity allowing energy conservation to an extent. The slim design is reflected in its 7.2mm-thick screen. The included LG super+ Resolution function adds up to formation of crisp images and revival of dim colors.

The LG E60 package comes in with features like LED backlighting, the mega contrast ratio, the easy-to-use EZ Control OSD, photo effects and original ratio and a 5 millisecond response time. To promote the company’s eco-friendly policy, this series includes some additions like less energy consumption than other LCD and uses less of harmful materials like halogen or mercury. E81 displays a slim profile and offers standard brightness, clarity and color details. The Super-Resolution technology reduces blurring and degradation of images.

The LG monitors are up for grabs at leading retail outlets and carry price tags ranging from Rs. 6,500 to Rs. 16,000.
