Epson 2D and 3D Full HD 1080p home theater projector series introduced

Epson 2D And 3D Full HD 1080p Home Theater Projector SeriesA new line-up of 2D and 3D Full HD 1080p home theater projectors by Epson was recently announced. They include the PowerLite Pro cinema 6010 and the Home cinema 5010/5010e and 3010/3010e models which utilize the new Bright 3D drive technology for seemingly superior home viewing experience.

Devices from the latest Epson line-up possess a host of features such as full HD, active shutter 3D, 1080p resolution, image refresh rates of 240Hz panels, bright images and reduced crosstalk. These projectors are said to deliver high brightness levels up to 2,400 lumens of color and white light output. Users can view clear and defined media content on large screens regardless of the lighting conditions. They are also presented with wireless installation options along with the split screen mode that lets them view two pictures at the same time or see TV and surf on the web simultaneously.

Jason Palmer, marketing manager, Epson America commented, “A large issue with 3D projection at home is the loss of brightness in image and picture quality. With the 480 Hz drive technology developed by Epson, we’ve been able to create a bright, crisp image for home users to truly enjoy the 3D experience. Coupled with exceptional 2D quality viewing, these new projectors are an outstanding choice for any home cinema.”

The projectors integrate the company’s super resolution and FineFrame technologies which aid in delivering smoother frame interpolation and sharper video quality. While the cinema filter feature is believed to expand color space and enhance color fidelity, the Fujinon OptiCinema lens provides a 2.1 zoom ratio for apparently superior performance. They also accommodate 2D to 3D conversion and the Pro Cinema 6010 additionally equips two anamorphic lens modes, two pairs of 3D glasses, ISF calibration, color isolation, a ceiling mount, cable cover and extra lamp for easier installation.
