Toshiba to retail SL833 series LED TVs in May

The entertainment buffs within us gaped at Toshiba’s announcement about the imminent release of its latest VL863 series of 3DTVs just yesterday. The company has also unveiled its new Toshiba SL833 line of LED TVs in Europe. High quality picture, broad connectivity and customized parameter presets are touted to be some of its primary attributes.

The SL833 line-up features a wide range of 32”, 37”, 42’’ and 46” screen models. The series comes equipped with a full HD display coupled with edge LED backlighting to render sharp picture quality. Resolution+ and Motion Picture Enhancement employing Active Vision M100 HD 100Hz technology proffer smooth fast-moving visuals.

Users may also opt for an optional WLAN dongle that can be hooked up to one of the USB ports for enabling easy connectivity to most home networks. Additionally, these new DLNA certified TVs provide instant access to Toshiba Places, the company’s cloud-based service platform for sharing and downloading content.

The array of products heighten the overall TV usability experience by providing precisely four personal preset options for managing stored channel lists and picture settings. They are Windows 7 certified and include support for Hybrid broadcast broadband TV technology to present seamless content sharing capabilities.

The Toshiba SL833 lineup of LED TVs is expected to be up for grabs next month across Europe.
