Sceptre splashes new Galaxy Series LED HDTVs with colors

Sceptre has just announced that its latest Galaxy Series 24-inch, 18.5-inch and 15.6-inch LED widescreen HDTVs are now drenched in pleasant colors.

Livening up a room’s ambiance, these fresh models feature automatic contrast for realistic imagery and quick response time. The dual HDMI ports and USB connection facilities ensure convenience. The 24” LED HDTV is clad in black, pink, chrome, pearl white, blue and red cloaks, while the 15.6” variant is dipped in pearl white, pink and black shades. The 24” model measures 0.9” at its thinnest point and 1.9” at its thickest plus consumes 44 percent lesser power as compared to conventional LCDs.

The E160PV-HD, E160WV-HD and E160BV-HD 15.6” feature 1366 × 768 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. These beauties deliver 16:9 aspect ratio imagery plus offer connectivity using one HDMI port and one USB port. The ATSC, NTSC and Clear QAM abilities are also bundled in. Moreover, the E190PV-HD, E190WV-HD and E160BV-HD 18.5” variants share their technical specs with the 15.6” products.

The largest size under this range, the 24” E240WC-FHD, E240RC-FHD, E240PC-FHD, E240BC-FHD, E240LV-FHD and E240CC-FHD sport an active screen size of 23.6”. The clarity of images is provided by its 5ms response time, 16:9 widescreen ratio and full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. The two 3W stereo speakers ensure heightened acoustics as well. Apart from boasting of 300cd/m2 brightness, these models equip detachable base and neck for further flexibility.

The 15.6-inch colorful LED HDTVs are sketched out to be available beginning April 2011, while the 24-inch Galaxy Series LED HDTVs are up for grabs at NewEgg, Amazon, Target, Sears and Kmart. The 15.6”, 18.5” and 24” variants are priced at $169.99 (approx Rs. 7,700), $199.99 (approx Rs. 9,060) and $399.99 (approx Rs. 18,135), respectively.
