Vizio adds 3D HDTVs to XVT series

Back in 2009, Vizio introduced its XVT series for delivering enhanced entertainment to users. The company has now expanded the XVT3SV series by adding 3D technology. The three variants under the refreshed lineup are available in 42″, 47″ and 55″ screen sizes along with the integrated Vizio Internet Apps.

Users can delight on the 3D Home Theater Ecosystem formed using Vizio’s full HD 3D glasses, 3D Blu-ray Players with wireless apps, wireless Internet router and high speed HDMI cables. These feature-rich entrants include Vizio Internet Apps with built-in dual band 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remote with sliding QWERTY keypad for easier usage. Owners can enjoy 3D and 2D broadcasts, discs, online streams, games and more.

The 55” and 47” 3D HDTVs render TruLED backlighting with Smart Dimming which produces clear cut imagery. For a true-to-life three dimensional experience, the devices boast of 480Hz SPS high frame rate technology with Smooth Motion. The 42” XVT 3D HDTV, on the other hand, proffers stunning 3D images with Vizio Razor LED backlighting featuring Smart Dimming.

The Vizio Internet Apps (VIA) allow users to take complete advantage of Amazon Video On Demand, Facebook, Flickr, Netflix and more. Employing Bluetooth capabilities, the Vizio XVT 3D HDTVs equip five HDMI 1.4 inputs each. Moreover, the other devices under the 3D Home Theater Ecosystem empower owners to augment their 3D multimedia experience.

The Vizio XVT 3D 42”, 47” and 55” models are priced at $1,399 (approx Rs. 63,395), $1,799 (approx Rs. 81,520) and $2,399 (approx Rs. 1,08,700), respectively. These devices are now available online at Amazon, SamsClub, Target and the company’s official website. They are anticipated to hit retail stores later this month with broader availability beginning in December. The VBR333 and VBR334 3D Blu-ray Players with wireless apps can be procured this month for $189.99 (approx Rs. 8,600) each. Also, the XWR100 dual band wireless internet router now comes hooked with a price tag of $99.99 (approx Rs. 4,530). Presently, users can purchase the XCH606D1 HDMI cables for $59.99 (approx Rs. 2,700).
