Panasonic intros three new VIERA LCD HDTV Series

Panasonic brings three new additions to the VIERA LCD HDTV range with the launch of the G1 series, the S1 series and the X1 series, in the market.

Starting with the G1 Series of VIERA LCD HDTVs, it consists of the 37-inch 1080p TC-L37G1 and the 32-inch 720p TC-L32G1 models. Featuring 120Hz Motion Picture Pro3 technology, both the television sets produce crisp, focused images while watching sports, dramatic action or any other fast-moving scenes. The series also employs an IPS Alpha Display Panel to offer a 178 degree wide viewing angle and bright, clear images from any location in the room. The incorporation of VIERA Image Viewer allows users to view and share their digital photos through the TV’s integrated SD card reader with ease. Other features of the G1 LCD HDTVs are VIERA Link, a PC input, Game mode, a 20:000:1 contrast ratio and 3 HDMI inputs. Bundled with a swivel base and narrow bezel design, the VIERA G1 series of LCD HDTVs will be available for purchase in April 2009.

Coming to the VIERA S1 Series of LCD HDTVs, the line-up has two versions: the 32-inch and the 37-inch. Offering 1080p resolution, the series comes equipped with Motion Focus technology, IPS Alpha Panel with 178 degree viewing angle, the VIERA Image Viewer function, VIERA Link, 15,000:1 native contrast ratio, PC Input, 3 HDMI inputs and Game mode. These two televisions are slated to release in March 2009.

Lastly, the VIERA X1 Series LCD HDTVs comes with a capability to offer 720p resolution and complements an iPod device. With the included iPod entertainment kit, users can control and view videos and music playlists of the iPod on the high-definition screen of the X1 series. This range of LCD TVs comes in various screen sizes such as 26-inch, 32-inch and 37-inch. The highlights of the series are VIERA Image Viewer, VIERA Link, a PC input, a Game mode, a 12000:1 contrast ratio and 3 HDMI inputs. While the 37-inch and 32-inch LCD HDTVs can be purchased in March 2009, the 26-inch television is slated to be available in April.
