LG intros two new additions to HDTV lineup

LG HDTVs After the successful launch of its XD3 Slim hard drive, LG is back with two new additions to the HDTV lineup. The new models launched are called the LG 55LHX and the LG LH85, reports Techfresh. Both these HDTVs are wireless and are said to cater to the mass market. They also incorporate LG’s latest technology.

These LG wireless HDTVs utilize a media box to transmit uncompressed 1080p signals. They are said to virtually eliminate the interference that often hamper wireless signals. The LG 55LHX and the LG LH85 are capable of receiving signals from a distance of up to 30 feet.

Flaunting a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,00,000:1, the 55LHX comes equipped with LED backlighting. It also features a refresh rate of 240Hz. The LH85 boasts of a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1

Both the models will be made available later this fall. The LG 55LHX will retail for around $4,799 (approx. Rs. 2,33,500). The 55-inch LG LH85 will cost around $3,199 (approx. Rs. 1,55,650) while the 47-inch LG LH85 will be price tagged at $2,399 (approx. Rs. 1,16,725). Although luxuriously priced, we feel that these HDTVs will surely be an option worth considering.
