Panasonic V10 NeoPDP TVs

We last heard of Panasonic’s V10 series back in March when the company made new additions to this plasma TV range. The company has now come up with two new additions to this series. Panasonic has unveiled new 58-inch and 65-inch models of the V10 NeoPDP Plasma TV. Both these models were unveiled at the IFA this year.

The specifications of these new TVs are similar to the existing V10 models. They feature a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. With support for 600Hz sub-field drive and Viera Cast web-content, they come with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The TVs also flaunt a 20,00,000:1 contrast ratio.

These new additions by Panasonic are THX certified and promise to provide cinema quality picture and audio. The other attributes include wide color viewing angle, AR Filter, Viera Image Viewer and Viera link that allows users to use a single remote for various Viera products. The Energy Star certified TVs also incorporate a Game Mode for better gaming experience.

The Panasonic Plasma TVs reached the US market last month with a luxurious price tag. The 58-inch Panasonic V10 NeoPDP Plasma TV is price tagged at $2700 (approx. Rs. 1,31,600) while the 65-inch TV costs $4000 (approx. Rs. 1,94,960). There is no official word on a release outside the US as yet.
