Designers Emi Fujita and Shane Kohatsu have a knack for making innovative gizmos. This time around, they have just introduced solar powered Corona Lamps that will accumulate solar power in the day and then light up your garden in the evenings.
The Corona Lamps uses LED technology. A photovoltaic cell powers the LED in the sunflower or bowl shaped (whichever way you prefer to perceive it) lights. These lamps sit pretty well in your garden as well as your living room. It can make your house look revolutionary and sophisticated at the same time. They have stated that the solar powered Corona Lamps do not need any fasteners or glues.
There is word on the cost of the Corona Lamps, but these solar powered beauties are worth any price as they just won an ICFF design award for Best New Designer.
