Samsung has introduced two new members in its F8 series of LCDs at IFA in Berlin, namely the LE-46F86BD and LE-40F86BD. Both the LCDs are pretty similar, but one has 40-inch screen and other has 46-inch.
Both the new launches in Samsung’s F8 line LCDs features 100MHz Motion Plus technology for sharper images, DVB-T tuner, 1080p support, a 25,000:1 contrast ratio, and a super CLEAR panel coating with S-PVA technology that allows the user to boot.
Furthermore, F8 series comes bundled with a USB 2.0 port, a trio of HDMI 1.3 sockets, an eight-millisecond response time, and a WCG CCFL backlighting. The two HDMI 1.3 ports are mounted on the back and on the side of the LCDs.
Samsung’s latest LCDs are compatible with HD jpeg images and MP3 audio files. They are also 24p compatible
The price of the Samsung LE-46F86BD is €3,199.00 (approx. Rs. 178,525) and LE-40F86BD is €2,599.00 (approx. Rs. 145,040).
