Samsung Electronics has finally unveiled the giant LCD TV that boasts 70-inch screen, in the Indian market.
The ultra-large TV will be targeted at the ultra-high-end consumers. It features high-definition picture with full HD 1080p super LCD panel, Wide Color Enhancer and LED Smartlighting technology. In addition, the TV intuitively senses the TV signal and adjusts the brightness level by turning on and off the right combination of the backlight units.
“We are confident that there is a significant demand in the market place for TVs of this calibre and size, that is why we are introducing it in India with its launch in other parts of the world,” commented R Zutshi, Samsung India Deputy Managing Director.
Samsung has announced a wide array of LCD TVs, specifically 12 LCD models ranging from 19-inch to 70-in screen size. The prices of the LCD models are placed accordingly, between Rs 21,000 to Rs 24 lakh.
Samsung’s 70-inch LCD TV carries the price tag of Rs. 24 lakhs.
