Gem Hsin Electronics has announced the launch of its Topaz USB desk lamps. Many people face the major difficulty of working at odd timings, such as nights. And while turning on the light may prove troublesome to people in the same room, not doing so may severely affect the eye-sight of the person working. The company claims its USB desk lamp to help this underlining problem.
The creatively crafted ice-cube shaped LED lamp will provide users with adequate lighting, sufficient enough at least to know exactly where the keyboard is. This device may prove to be a relief for those who struggle while working in the dark. The lamp is equipped with three lighting options, adjustable as per required.
Better yet, the Gem Hsin Topaz USB powered device is said to be extremely energy efficient, utilizing only 2 watts per hour. For users on the go, the device can also be lit up using a 5000mAh portable battery, which is said to provide up to seventy-two hours of light. Also, the lamp can be used alongside any other device connected for charging or any other operation, such as an iPhone.
Gem Hsin has not provided the price and availability of their product, but, has revealed its newer version of the Topaz series, claiming to integrate solar power, flat speakers, computer software control and different lighting functions based on different environmental needs. The company has also announced a September launch of its new series called ‘Albite’.
