The all new TiVo Premiere DVR carries 500GB memory to increase the duration of recording HD entertainment. This upgraded memory is cited to offer approximately 75 hours of HD recording, that is 65% more than its earlier version.
Along with this launch, the company has also refreshed the pricing structures for all its devices. As per the updated prices, the TiVo Premiere will set users back by $149.99 (approx. Rs.7,680). The latter allows for recording of 2 shows at one time and offers nearly 75 hours of HD recording capability.
In terms of the XL variant, it will cost around $249.99 (approx. Rs. 12,800), which is almost $50 (approx. Rs. 2,560) less than its previous price tag. This offering claims to record 2 shows at a time, while providing for up to 150 hours of HD content. The Elite version is priced at $399.99 (Rs. 20,485), which is $100 (approx. Rs. 5,120) less than the earlier cost. The device is expected to record 4 shows at a time, while it also enables up to 300 hours of HD exposure.

The monthly fee for the gadget is presently $14.99 (approx. Rs. 765) and it arrives with a 1-year commitment. A multi-service discount can now be availed of at $12.99 (approx. Rs. 665) on a monthly basis. For those wishing to pay just once for the offering, the product lifetime service can be taken advantage of at $499.99 (approx. Rs. 25,610). In case of users with multiple TiVo DVRs, the price is discounted to $399.99 (approx. Rs. 20,485).
The 500GB TiVo Premiere release date is March 25. It can be purchased from retail outlets and stores like Best Buy or from the official site.
