After Meridian revealed the M80 system, here’s another offering that lets users kick back and indulge in enhanced entertainment. The Sezmi personal TV entertainment system, DMR 1000, is now up for sale through Best Buy for under $200 (approx. Rs. 9,190).
The device is compatible with H.264 podcast video as well as MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 formats. It flaunts the ability to support 1080p, 720p and 480p resolution videos at a speed of 60Hz. The device is designed to receive standard and HD signals for local and cable TV programming.
It intuitively records, organizes and recommends programming as per the user’s personal preferences. The unit functions with an internet Broadband connection operating at a minimum speed of 1.5MB/s. Additionally, the offering integrates an HDD that offers up to 1TB of recording capacity.
The aural quality of the DMR 1000 is backed by Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Surround Sound 2.0 technology. Moreover, owners can customize different viewer profiles and access live, recorded, online or on-demand programming thanks to the HD media recorder.
