Yamaha MCR-040

Yamaha’s innovation in digital audio system continues with the latest MCR-140 and MCR-040 micro-component music systems. With its proprietary yAired technology, MCR-140 system offers wireless iPod playback and optional wireless subwoofer compatibility.

The MCR-140 is also inclusive of CD player, front panel USB port, FM radio and mini jack inputs for portable audio devices. The MCR-040 is similar to the MCR-140, but it doesn’t incorporate the yAired feature. These devices measure around 4 3/4″ X 4 5/8″ X 11 ¼”.

With the Advanced Yamaha Active Servo Technology, it is said to offer powerful, accurate bass response which is generally witnessed in larger speakers. Further, the Vibration Control Cabinet Structure Technology removes distortion-causing speaker cabinet vibration.

The top panels of both devices incorporate iPod docks, enabling users to share their favorite music with friends and recharge the portable devices automatically, all at one go. The MCR-140 is also inclusive of a wireless transmitter for iPods that facilitates users to listen to audio remotely while accessing music and video content directly.

yAired technology offers Bluetooth connectivity along with advanced sound quality via uncompressed linear PCM audio transmission and also avoids audio delay issues while watching videos. Yamaha digital amplifier boasts the sound quality of MCR-140 and MCR-040 with low noise distortion. Both these devices are inclusive of a card-type remote control for operating the system and connected devices. Additionally, two 4–inch speakers provide dynamic bass response for powerful, clean sound from any music library.

The ‘Made for iPod’ certified music systems are offered in ten vibrant shades including orange, dark blue, light blue, white, red, dark green, brown, light gray, dark gray and pink.
