Utilizing the embedded LiveArea , users can conveniently access new game information through PlayStation Network while its pre-installed ‘near’ app will enable them to glance over what other Vita users in the vicinity are playing.

The Party feature lets users indulge voice chat or text chat while playing games or using the internet browser, whereas the purposive ‘Welcome Park’ tutorial app guides one through the device’s new user interface.

The new PlayStation Vita comes with a starting price point of $249 (approx Rs. 11,111).
