Jetyo goes green with solar HDV-T900 camcorder

Jetyo HDV-T900 As manufacturers are getting environment conscious, we have witnessed several green gadgets hop into the markets. After the green phones, energy saving TVs and other gizmos, now the newest device to go green is a camcorder from Jetyo. The company has put to fore the new HDV-T900 camcorder that can be powered with solar energy, reports Engadget.

This model from Jetyo is capable of recording to SDHC memory cards with a fixed zoom lens. It has been integrated with a solar cell on the back of the display.

Reportedly, Jetyo hasn’t mentioned about the recharging time, except the120mA current from the solar cell. So, supposedly 25 hours would be needed to recharge per 2,500mAh battery. Apparently, some of the attributes of the device include 5 megapixel sensor, 8x digital zoom, and 3-inch widescreen (16:9) viewfinder.

It enables users to record 720p videos at 30 fps. The HDV-T900 is said to be available through Jetyo.
