Sungworld to debut 7″ Android MID

Sungworld Android MID

So what does one do when the rumored Apple tablet refuses to make an appearance? Read on about Sungworld devising an Android MID with a UI that seemingly takes after the purported Apple style interface of course.

The company will apparently release a 7” Android MID that will feature an Apple-like UI, says i4u. It will run on the ARM 926 platform and is cited to offer 512MB RAM as well as incorporate a 2GB SSD.

The device is said to proffer Wi-Fi connectivity and even accommodate 1080p resolution video content. It may also host an HDMI-out port terminal. As the name suggests, the MID will run the Google Android operating system.

The Sungworld Android tablet is speculated to be scheduled for a release date that will fall some time at the end of January or later in February 2010. Hopefully, this Android gizmo will hit shelves at a competitive enough price. Apple cannot grudge the attention this MID will garner until they reveal their own tablet device, we suppose.
