So what does one do when the rumored Apple tablet refuses to make an appearance? Read on about Sungworld devising an Android MID with a UI that seemingly takes after the purported Apple style interface of course.
The company will apparently release a 7†Android MID that will feature an Apple-like UI, says i4u. It will run on the ARM 926 platform and is cited to offer 512MB RAM as well as incorporate a 2GB SSD.
The device is said to proffer Wi-Fi connectivity and even accommodate 1080p resolution video content. It may also host an HDMI-out port terminal. As the name suggests, the MID will run the Google Android operating system.
The Sungworld Android tablet is speculated to be scheduled for a release date that will fall some time at the end of January or later in February 2010. Hopefully, this Android gizmo will hit shelves at a competitive enough price. Apple cannot grudge the attention this MID will garner until they reveal their own tablet device, we suppose.
