O2 has declared to make available Dell’s Streak, a 5-inch Android based device. This all new device brings in internet, entertainment, turn-by-turn navigation and numerous apps from Android Market.
The device claims to be apt for those looking for a big screen experience, negating the need to carry a laptop around. The Streak also comes with 5 megapixel camera, fast processor, and built-in Wi-Fi, enabling instant access to social networks.
“The Dell Streak is a bold new class of product, something we wanted to bring to our customers first,†said Steve Alder, O2’s General Manager Devices. “This means we can continue to offer our customers a range of the very best devices to make their lives a bit easier.â€
O2 will further enhance Dell Streak experience with its intelligent network, alluring tariffs and customer service. This would include O2 Gurus in O2 retail stores and smartphone specialists in customer service to help customers reap the benefits of the products and services.

The spec sheet of the Dell Streak also reveals support for 3G, Bluetooth, 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, expandable memory slot up to 32GB capacity and a 5-inch touchscreen. O2 will exclusively make available the Dell Streak in early June via O2 stores, and online at carphonewarehouse.com and o2.co.uk. The pricing and tariff information will be declared later.
