The last we heard about the Kindle e-reader was Amazon making it available for not more than $200 (approx. Rs. 9,320). Now the device can be grabbed through Woot at a price of less than $150 (approx. Rs. 6,990) with a one day deal.
The e-reader flaunts a 6†screen that displays images which can be zoomed to a full size. It has been fitted with a QWERTY keyboard and a 5-way controller that allows users to flip or browse through content easily. This device exposes users to over 6,00,000 books without any monthly or yearly contracts. Apart from the built-in dictionary, the gadget offers a wireless connection to Wikipedia.
Additionally, users can also manage their Facebook and Twitter accounts through the e-reader. It provides owners an internal storage capacity of about 2GB and is bundled with a 3.5mm stereo audio jack. This ergonomically shaped device is embedded with a USB 2.0 port and is powered by a long lasting battery. It weighs about 10.2oz with dimensions amounting to 203.2mm x 134.6mm x 9.1mm.
